heated floors, your customers can expect watch a
small investment grow substantially. Radiant heat

without a reliance on natural gas. There are no

costs of duct cleaning and filter changing associated
with forced air systems are virtually eliminated.
The good news, of course, is that while their
appeal is high, the initial cost of installation
is relatively low, making ComfortTile radiant heat
a great addition to any remodel job. ComfortTile

systems for maximum comfort while minimizing power
consumption. With Warmzone ComfortTile radiant
heated floors, you can heat one room, or heat

system in your recommendation. This state-of-the-art

for use in a wide variety of electric radiant heat
applications.
FloorHeat
features a low-voltage, self-regulating, semi-conductive
polyethylene heating element that comes in 9- or
12-inch-wide rolls. The polymer-heating element
itself is thin by design, so it will not affect
floor buildup, weight loads or flooring choices.
Available in
9- or 12-inch-wide rolls, it is a very non-evasive
application that does not require elaborate ductwork or
vent installation, making it a safe bet for
inclusion into just about any remodel job. And as

may be a good idea. No need to tear up and start
over. If you can assess the floor joists from below,
you can easily retrofit a customer’s floor with
RetroHeat radiant
heat. RetroHeat
floor heating panels can be cut to the
desired length and safely stapled in between floor
joists. After stapling, you just have to connect
the electrical system, and install batt insulation
underneath the panels which directs heat up through the
floor.
It’s

a FloorHeat
radiant heated floor. Call Warmzone today at

Sometimes can be
hard to narrow down what kind of radiant
heaters to install. There are dozens of products
available to purchase, and there are even more
companies telling you that their product is the best.
For many homeowners, electric cable heating systems,
often called line- or high-voltage systems, are
gaining popularity and are ideal for heating smaller
areas like bathrooms, kitchens, and sun rooms. These systems
are comprised of a thermostat and a heating cable.
These radiant
heater systems are oftentimes less expensive,
and give the ability to customize a layout that will
heat every square inch of your floor.
Every available radiant heater cable system is
equally effective, so when determining which system to
purchase, you should look at the warranty of the
product, along with the ease of installation. Some cables
must be embedded in a separate layer of concrete or
mortar, whereas other systems can simply be installed
in the thinset. Most radiant heater cable systems can
only be installed under tile. However, on others, if the
cable is embedded in mortar or concrete, any flooring
can be installed on top of the concrete.
Radiant Heaters Tip: When heating smaller
areas, it is nearly impossible to beat the simplicity
and price of an electric cable radiant heating
system.

Make a Heated Driveway Work for You
The Days of
Manual Snow Removal are Over
Seriously
consider a life without back breaking snow removal. Can
you picture it? Are you smiling? Well, having a
radiant
snow melting system
right outside your front door makes that
snow-removal-less life possible. If you put a
heated driveway to work for you, chances are you'll
enjoy winter a whole lot more.
It doesn't
take much effort or upfront cost to make a radiant
heated driveway possible either. Radiant snow
melting systems are a simple addition to any new
driveway as they can be installed before the
concrete, pavers or asphalt goes down. But if you
have an existing driveway you don't need to lose heart
because heated driveways can also be
retrofitted in your current asphalt or concrete
driveway.
Radiant heated
driveways eliminate the back breaking, hand
shoveling, sweating work of manual snow removal.
Heated
driveway systems are fully automated, so
feel free to sleep in or enjoy your morning coffee
from the warmth of your living room. When temperatures
are below a set point (usually 39° F.) and
the snow
sensor (pictured right →) detects
moisture, it signals the controller which then sends
power to the heat cables, outputting a steady stream of
warmth to keep your driveway clear of snow and
ice. Once the snow flakes hit the warmed surface
they don't have a chance to accumulate as they melt on
impact, leaving you with a heated
driveway constantly clear of snow. The snow is
left to accumulate where it is more appreciated, like
your front yard (for optimal snowball fights and
snowman building) or even your next door
neighbor's driveway.
If you've
told your neighbors about your heated driveway and they
still haven't installed a radiant
snow melting system of their own, you have
every right to silently snicker at them as you
watch from the warmth of your front window as they huff
and puff to remove their snow by hand. If you make
a heated
driveway work for you, your snow removal days
are over. Forever.

More Than One Way to Heat a Driveway
When it
comes to Radiant Heated Driveway Systems, you may have
more Options than you Realize.
So you've
decided that a radiant heated
driveway is in your future, and may be asking,
now what? If you're looking for high-quality,
reliable radiant heat solutions, look no further than
Warmzone. As a trusted provider of quality radiant
heat solutions, Warmzone has made a name for
itself by offering the best selection and prices
available on radiant
snow melting systems and heated
floors, and for providing a creative approach to
finding solutions to meet the needs of its
customers.
Warmzone
takes three general approaches to heated driveway
installation. To keep paved areas completely clear
and free of snow and ice, radiant heating cable
can be installed underneath entire driveway and/or
walkway surfaces. Other snow melting
options include installing either an 8-10 foot
wide strip of heating cable, or two 24-inch wide
tracks of radiant heat cable up the middle or main
traffic area of your driveway.
WarmZone has
built a reputation not only on their approach to a
variety of radiant
heat systems, but on their
state-of-the-art products. ClearZone cable is durable
resistance heat cable used to melt snow and ice in
harsh weather conditions. It is built specifically
for heated driveways,
sidewalks and other common areas that require snow
removal in the worst conditions. Easy to install
and easily customizable, ClearZone heat
cable provides an effective, energy efficient and
environmentally friendly snow removal solution
that is virtually maintenance free.
ClearZone
electric radiant snow melting
cable is available in pre-configured sections, or
mats, for easy installation. These snow melting
mats are built specifically for electric heated
driveway systems, sidewalks and other common areas.
They're designed for ease of installation and
proper cable spacing for optimum snow melting
efficiency, whether you choose to heat an entire
driveway, or target high-traffic areas. They can
be rolled out for safe installation in new
concrete pours, under pavers and even in
high-temperature new asphalt projects.

A New Year, A New Motto: Simplify
Simplify
Your Life with a Radiant Heat Snow Melting System
Every
year that we grace this earth with our presence, our
lives seem to get more complicated. We go from
fighting our parents when they tell us it is
nap time to sitting at our desks during the work day
dreaming of nap time. Busy lives leave little
time for peace and quiet. New products come
out every day designed to simplify our lives and
make one aspect of it a bit more manageable.
Some of these products are gimmicks or passing
fads (a flash in the pan, my grandma would say) and
others prove to have staying power. One of
these simplifying ideas here to stay is a
snowmelt system. Snowmelt
systems are designed to simplify your life and
save you time clearing snow from your driveway
and sidewalks.
Radiant
snowmelt
systems lie beneath the surface of your
driveway and/or sidewalk and work
automatically to keep your property clear of snow.
Busy people with hectic lives across the
country are jumping on the driveway
heating bandwagon because it not only saves
precious time but also precious money as well.
Over time you’ll save money on snow blowers,
shovels, snow gear, ice melt, and other snow melting
chemicals. You’ll also be protecting
your driveway from harsh chemicals and plowing as
well as from ice and snow.
Snowmelt
systems are energy efficient, so once the initial
investment of installation has passed, your
cost to run and operate the driveway heating
system is minimal – especially since they are
programmed to run only when needed. The automatic
sensors detect moisture and turn the system on
only when the snow starts to fall. See, I told
you it was simple. So go ahead, simplify your
life this year and install a heated driveway system.
|
Custom Heated Driveways (cont.)
Of course, you may not be ready to pour a new
driveway right now. Perhaps the thought of rolling
out ClearZone snow melting cables or mats over your
existing pavement does not appeal to your
aesthetic sensibilities. But don't rule out a
heated driveway in your future just yet. ClearZone
radiant heat cable is easily retrofitted into
existing surfaces. Using concrete saw-cut
technology, grooves can be cut into existing concrete or
asphalt. The ClearZone radiant heat cable is then
laid into the grooves and sealed with a special
epoxy topcoat for efficient, effective snow removal.
Choose
Warmzone, and you not only benefit from
cutting-edge radiant heat technologies, but a team
of radiant heat specialists with the experience
and the expertise to design a snowmelt
system to satisfy your objectives and budget.
From start to finish, our professional designers
can evaluate your radiant heating system
requirements, and based on this information, create a
detailed CAD schematic of your heated
driveway system layout. You'll know the
electrical requirements, technical specifications
and system performance expectations before heat cable is
installed with no costly installation surprises later
on.

Warming Your Heart by Warming Your Toes
Radiant
Floor Heating and You
With
winter just around the corner, it’s no wonder
that the winter wardrobe is being unearthed
and swimsuits are being put away in favor of
coats and leather gloves. It’s also a good
time to think about what new clothes your home
could wear to find more warmth for its hearth and
your heart.
Radiant
floor heating is the centerpiece to your
home’s new winter wardrobe. Like the
heat of sun-warmed sand on bare feet, or a warmed
car seat in a luxury sedan, radiant heat is
one of the finest forms of heat imaginable.
Immediately tangible, the concept of radiant heat is
now being applied to homes everywhere. With
simple thermostats and a variety of
installation processes available, no home should go
through winter without it.
Warmzone
specialists are extremely knowledgeable in the
physics and application of radiant heat, and
are trained to explain and help visualize how
to best fit your home to its new winter clothes.
Radiant heat is one of the most cost-effective
ways to heat your home, and it performs better
than current heating models. Compared to the dry,
loud heat of forced hot air systems, radiant
heat is far more effective, environmentally
friendly, quiet, and comfortable.
Waking up
in the morning and setting foot on cold hardwood in
the winter can set an entire day down into
doldrums. Instead, wake up to warm toes and a
happier outlook.

your radiant heating revolution is choosing the type of
radiant heat you want.
There’s no
limit to what radiant heating can do. Whether you’re
looking to warm up your home or prevent snow and ice
buildup on your property, there’s a radiant
heating option that’s sure to fit your needs.
Indoor Radiant Heating
Turn any room into a cozy paradise with radiant
floor heating. Radiant heating can go under
virtually any surface, including tile, carpet, wood, etc.
Put it in your bathroom, your kitchen, your living
room—anywhere you need heat. Each room, or
zone, can be controlled with its own thermostat.
Given the flexibility and outstanding effectiveness of
radiant
heated floors, it is the most affordable way
to keep your house perfectly warm without racking up the
electricity bill.
Outdoor Radiant Heating
You can also enjoy the benefits of radiant heating
outdoors. Radiant
snow melting systems keep your property safe
by preventing snow and ice buildup. You can choose one or
all of the following options to make your life a
little easier in the harsh winter months:

Warmzone team will help you design a customized plan of
action. We realize that your radiant heating system
isn’t the same as the next customer’s,
so we work diligently with you to come up with a radiant
heating system tailor made to your needs.
Once
we assess your project’s requirements, our team
will design a custom
CAD drawing of your radiant heating system
telling you exactly what you get, where you’ll get
it, and how much it will cost you. We’ll keep
you involved in every step of the process to make sure
that your custom radiant heating system exceeds your
expectations.
When we’ve
got your customized radiant heating system designed,
we’ll make sure you have everything you need
for a quick and easy installation. If you’re
not comfortable doing it yourself, we’ve got a list

plans to fruition.

you with the planning and design process, you’re only
job is to sit back, relax, and enjoy your custom
radiant heating solution. Let your heated
floors warm your home evenly and efficiently. Sit
back and watch from the warmth of your living room as
your radiant heated driveway does the shoveling for you. And
sleep in peace knowing that your gutters and pipes are
safe from nasty and potentially devastating snow and
ice buildup.

out of the box heating solution? Let us help you
customize a radiant heating system that meets your needs,
fits your budget, and keeps you and your family warm
and safe.

Exploring the Facts Behind Different Roof Heating Systems
Better Dollars and Cents--Roof and Gutter Melt
Kit or Warmzone Radiant Heat Solution?
Before you
decide to purchase a radiant
heated roof and gutter melt cable kit from
your local hardware store, you may want to consult with
Warmzone, your radiant heat specialists. Consider
the average kit you can buy at a hardware chain.
(Think Home Depot or Lowes). These roof deicing and
gutter melt kits are generally inexpensive,
pre-assembled and easy to install. Then
there’s the warranty--at one year. What seems
like a small price to pay initially really adds up
when you consider replacing a roof deicing and
gutter melt kit year after year, not only in dollars and
cents but in time expended to install these systems.
|
| Provide long term
protection for your home with a WarmZone roof
heating system. |
Warmzone heat
cables come with a comprehensive 10-year manufacturer
warranty, whereas most others have, on average, 2-5
years. That's because hardware store versions and
most Warmzone competitors use a cable that has a
low grade carbon base that burns out over a short period
of time. Warmzone radiant heat cables, in
comparison, use higher quality materials. Going
back to the hardware store example, Warmzone roof
heating cable's warranty can be up to 10 times
better, and as much as 2 to 5 times better than
the competition!
Roof
deicing and gutter melt cables can be
easily compromised by constant sun exposure. Unlike the
hardware store roof deicing and gutter melt kit,
Warmzone radiant heat cables feature special
coatings that offer better UV protection for a longer
life span.
|
| WarmZone low-voltage,
self-regulating roof heating systems provide
safe, long-lasting radiant roof heating
solutions that are energy efficient. |
Do-it-yourself roof deicing and gutter melt cable kits
take a one-size-fits-all approach to radiant heat,
which may or may not serve your needs. For any
installation, Warmzone takes into account where
clients live, what they are trying to accomplish and
their budget. Heat output varies depending on
location and application, whether you are using it
on a commercial building or a residential property.
Warmzone has three different wattage cables (5, 8,
and 10), so the ideal radiant heat solution can be
designed for each individual location. Much like
the hardware roof deicing and gutter melt kit,
most competitors only offer one wattage cable, in
hope that it works in all applications.
Furthermore, every Warmzone roof
deicing and gutter melt system uses automatic
sensors for activation, making them extremely
efficient, while most hardware kits feature a
plug-in, continuous operating system.
Tackling home
improvement projects if they are cost effective is a
good idea; however, not if it means sacrificing
quality, efficiency or safety. Before you decide
on purchasing a radiant heat roof deicing and gutter
melt kit from your local hardware store, contact the
experts at Warmzone for a high-quality, dependable
radiant heat solution that makes better dollars
and cents for your budget.

Snow Removal Doesn’t Have to Be a Work Out
Relax Indoors and Let a Snow Melting System do
the Work
New
Year’s Resolutions are not that far off.
Most of us include some form of exercise
and diet regimen when we sit down to put them on
paper. We’ve finished off the fruit cake and
all the delicious trimmings that the holidays
bring. Then our thoughts turn to burning it all off.
When you sit down to plan your work-outs, snow
removal does not have to be on that list. In
fact, you can think of other fun ways to get some
exercise if you have a radiant
snow melting system.
A heated
driveway is the easiest way to relax
indoors while the snow flies outdoors. If you
dread getting all your snow gear on to go out and
clear your walks and driveway, then consider
the luxurious ease of an automated snow melting
system. It will leave you a lot of extra time to
plan more enjoyable forms of physical
activity.
|
|
Radiant heated driveway.
|
Heated
driveways are quickly becoming a desired
feature of new homes. They are now more affordable
than ever and people with back injuries or
shoulder strains need them to save their aching
bodies. Heat
cables are laid beneath the surface of
your driveway, sidewalk, and stairs. They can be
installed under existing material or as part
of new construction. The snow melting system is
designed to be fully
automated. You can install the system and
then let it work on its own. The snow
sensor works to detect temperature and
moisture and then turns the snowmelt
system on only when called for. It
doesn’t run around the clock, which means
you’ll save on energy costs.
You’ll only see it working when there is snow
falling on it. This year enjoy setting your
resolutions but leave off “lifting
snow” as part of your work-out. Maybe
you could add snowboarding instead!

Concrete Curing and Thawing Blankets
When Regular Heat Just Won’t Cut It
When extreme
temperatures hit during a long winter, projects can
stand still. Like the ice the world becomes
encased in, moving forward towards a deadline can
become a frozen endeavor. Trying to do anything outside
when a cold snap hits can be a unique challenge.
A product designed to combat the extreme cold can
beat even regular heating. Take concrete for
example: it can be your worst nightmare when
it’s freezing. The air temperature can make or
break a good concrete curing process. The
PowerBlanket
concrete
curing and thawing blanket
can quickly thaw anything in extremely low
temperatures. If you need to ensure the ultimate
protection for a concrete pour, you might do yourself
a favor and invest in a PowerBlanket concrete curing
blanket. They come in many sizes and may even be
plugged into other PowerBlankets to create a
custom size matching your project needs.
If you are
looking to penetrate frozen ground quickly, you may also
find the PowerBlanket a handy solution. The super
duty extra hot concrete blanket is able to thaw up
to 18 inches of ground overnight. Facing the
daunting challenge of breaking through that much ground
unaided would make anyone nervous. Luckily digging
in cold weather is just what a PowerBlanket was
designed for. The PowerBlanket
is a versatile and flexible outdoor heating
blanket. These portable heating mats are used for a
variety of home and construction applications when
regular heat just won’t cut it.

Now is the Time to Install Radiant Heat
Now is the Time to Save Money and go "Green" with a
Clean Radiant Heat Snow Melting System
If you’re one of those unfortunate
souls who has to manually remove snow from
the driveway and walks every winter, you may want to
reconsider your methods. The passing of new snow
removal laws (such as that in Massachusetts)
don’t make it any easier on homeowners, who
are now mandated to provide snow and
ice-free walkways for pedestrians. If the sidewalks
are not cleared, property owners are not
only susceptible to personal injury lawsuits,
but they also face the possibility of fines, levied
by the local government. Removing snow from
your driveway and sidewalks is no longer an
option – it’s the law
Many consumers stock up on salt and other
snow melting chemicals to ease the physical
burden of shoveling the snow, but the amount of
time, money and adverse environmental
effects of these chemicals can be evident
year round. While effective in melting snow,
salt and chemicals are not so friendly to
the surrounding landscape. When spring hits,
the bordering grass and shrubs often reveal the ugly
scars from the repeated salt and chemical
use during the winter.
So if you’re serious about going
green (in more ways than one), consider
this. Radiant heat snow melting systems:
|
♦
|
Operate on
clean, renewable energy (hydronic or
electric) |
|
♦
|
Are safe and
environmentally friendly |
|
♦
|
Are fully
automated so that they efficiently
operate only when needed |
|
♦
|
Operate
discreetly and silently |
Of course, one of the most significant
“selling points” of radiant snow
melting systems is that it eliminates the time
consuming, physical demands of the
homeowner.
The best time to purchase and install a snow
melting system is during the early spring.
You are much more likely to discover discounted
prices, because the demand typically wanes when the
weather begins to warm. Springtime is a time
when homeowners are more interested in
outdoor grills and barbeques than snow melting
systems. Of course, once the summer has run
its course and Old Man Winter is peeking around the
corner, consumers tend to scramble to install a snow
melting system before the first storm hits.

Pipe Tracing Systems
Prevent Water
Damage from Ruptured Pipes
Every year that we grace this earth with
our presence, our lives seem to get more
complicated. We go from fighting our parents
when they tell us it is nap time to
sitting at our desks during the work day
dreaming of nap time. Busy lives leave
little time for peace and quiet. New
products come out every day designed to simplify
our lives and make one aspect of it a
bit more manageable. Some of these products are
gimmicks or passing fads (a flash in the
pan, my grandma would say) and others
prove to have staying power. One of these
simplifying ideas here to stay is a
snowmelt system. Snowmelt
systems are designed to simplify
your life and save you time clearing snow from
your driveway and sidewalks.
Radiant snowmelt
systems lie beneath the surface of your
driveway and/or sidewalk and work
automatically to keep your property clear of
snow. Busy people with hectic lives
across the country are jumping on the driveway
heating bandwagon because it not
only saves precious time but also precious money
as well. Over time you’ll save
money on snow blowers, shovels, snow gear,
ice melt, and other snow melting chemicals.
You’ll also be protecting your
driveway from harsh chemicals and plowing as
well as from ice and snow.
Snowmelt systems are energy efficient,
so once the initial investment of
installation has passed, your cost to run and
operate the driveway heating system is
minimal – especially since they are
programmed to run only when needed. The
automatic
sensors detect moisture and turn the system
on only when the snow starts to fall.
See, I told you it was simple. So go ahead,
simplify your life this year and install
a heated
driveway system.
